On Monday 22nd April, five acclaimed chefs—Atul Kochhar, Cyrus Todiwala, Charlie Hodson, Vivek Singh, and Simon Rimmer—will join forces to host an exclusive charity dinner at Kanishka in aid of Hospitality Action. This exceptional evening will raise vital funds for a charity dedicated to supporting hospitality workers across the UK. As patrons and ambassadors for the cause, each chef will prepare one course for a bespoke five-course tasting menu, offering guests a rare opportunity to savour exquisite dishes crafted by true culinary legends while experiencing our signature Pan-Indian hospitality.

Supporting the Heart of Our Industry

Behind their warm smiles and flawless service, hospitality workers can fall upon hard times just like anyone else. Ours is a demanding industry, often characterised by long hours, high-pressure environments, and physically exhausting shifts.

The unprecedented challenges that began in March 2020 show no signs of slowing, as thousands of hospitality businesses and their dedicated teams struggle to navigate the ongoing cost of living crisis. The soaring costs of accommodation, food, and fuel are placing many families at risk, while independent venues face an uncertain future that puts countless jobs in jeopardy.

How Hospitality Action Makes a Difference

Hospitality Action has consistently innovated to deliver financial and mental health support alongside advice and signposting to people facing poverty, homelessness, and deteriorating mental health.

Since March 2020, the charity has answered tens of thousands of calls to their free 24-hour helplines, assisting over 12,000 hospitality households and awarding in excess of £4,000,000 in life-changing grants.
