Chef Patron of Lympstone Manor in East Devon, Michael Caines MBE is one of Britain’s most celebrated Michelin-starred chefs. After studying in France under Bernard Loiseau and Joël Robuchon, Michael returned to the UK, taking up the position of head chef at Gidleigh Park in Devon in 1994, which soon received two Michelin stars. Michael has since gained a global reputation for his distinctive modern cuisine combining outstanding local produce with influences from his global travels.

In 2017, Michael opened Lympstone Manor – a flagship hotel forming part of the Michael Caines Collection. Within just six months of opening, the main Lympstone Manor restaurant achieved its first Michelin star.
